The City of Brooklet has begun a program with the Text Messaging service to provide text messaging to subscribers. Typical messages that would be sent via this service would be Water Outages, known electrical outages, road closures, council meetings, and other City Events.  This service is FREE (but text message costs may apply, check with your cell phone company). This service is SECURE - no cell phone numbers are ever shared by the sender or the receiver. To subscribe simply send a text message to 81010 with the code @mrcityc as the message of the text. The service will reply to you to acknowledge your subscription.  If you want the service, but don’t know how to text, bring your cell phone to city hall and they can sign you up!

Contact Lori Phillips or Annette Shelley at (912) 842-2137 to get signed up.

Subscribe today and have News & Notices, and Alerts delivered directly to you via email and or text! Just another way we are working harder to better serve our community.
